Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 2 cups bone broth homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup rolled oats preferably gluten-free if needed
  • 1 cup water to adjust consistency if needed
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
For the Topping
  • 1 banana sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon chopped nuts such as walnuts or almonds
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon for sprinkling

Method
 

Cooking the Oatmeal
  1. Add the bone broth, rolled oats, water, and salt to the Instant Pot.
  2. Close the lid securely and set the valve to sealing.
  3. Select the 'Manual' or 'Pressure Cook' setting and set the timer for 10 minutes.
  4. Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes, then perform a quick release.
  5. Stir the oatmeal and adjust the consistency with additional water if desired.
Serving
  1. Divide the oatmeal into bowls.
  2. Top with sliced banana, a drizzle of honey, chopped nuts, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy your nutritious breakfast!
