Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Cranberry BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Method
 

Prepare the Meatballs
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the meatballs for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
Make the Cranberry BBQ Sauce
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Let it cook for about 5 minutes.
Combine and Serve
  1. Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the saucepan with the cranberry BBQ sauce. Stir to coat the meatballs evenly.
  2. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Serve the meatballs warm with your choice of sides, such as rice or a fresh salad.
