Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Topping
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Pour in the melted butter and mix until the ingredients are well combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the base is golden brown.
Prepare the Topping
  1. While the base is baking, in a separate bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. Once the base has cooled, spread the whipped cream topping evenly over it.
  4. Sprinkle shredded coconut on top of the whipped cream.
Serve
  1. Cut the Snowflake Crisp into squares and serve chilled.
