- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the marinara sauce, water, broken lasagna noodles, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender.
- While the noodles are cooking, in a bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, egg, and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
- Once the noodles are cooked, dollop spoonfuls of the ricotta mixture over the noodles and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover the skillet again and let it cook for another 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your skillet lasagna!
