Method
Prepare the Chicken
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Make the Crust
- In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, and paprika.
- Mix well until evenly combined.
Coat the Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once hot, add the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the chicken and remove from heat.
- Evenly sprinkle the Parmesan crust mixture over the top of each chicken thigh.
Bake the Chicken
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
- An internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) should be reached.
Serve
- Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve warm with your choice of sides.
