Ingredients
  

For the Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk cold
For the Filling
  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20 blend for juiciness
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Topping
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in the milk until a dough forms. Knead lightly and set aside.
Make the Filling
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
  2. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Drain excess fat.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
Assemble the Bombs
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into 4-inch squares.
  3. Place a spoonful of the beef filling in the center of each square.
  4. Fold the corners of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
Bake the Bombs
  1. Place the bombs seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Prepare the Topping
  1. In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley.
  2. Brush the garlic Parmesan topping over the warm cheeseburger bombs immediately after baking.
