Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 12 fresh sage leaves
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place each chicken breast between plastic wrap and gently pound to about half an inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Lay sage leaves on each breast, top with prosciutto, and secure with toothpicks if needed.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken, prosciutto side down, for about 4 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Remove chicken from skillet; add white wine to deglaze, scraping up brown bits. Stir in chicken broth and remaining sage leaves, bringing it to a simmer. Return chicken to the pan and simmer for an additional 5 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Plate the chicken, drizzle with sauce, and enjoy!
