  • 6 cups tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning according to package instructions.
  3. Layer half of the tortilla chips in the bottom of the greased baking dish. Spoon half of the seasoned beef mixture over the chips, followed by half of the cheddar cheese.
  4. Repeat with another layer of tortilla chips, remaining beef mixture, and top with the rest of the cheese.
