Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange Saltine crackers in a single layer.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar until bubbly, then boil for 3 minutes while stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the toffee mixture evenly over the crackers.
  6. Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly and slightly golden.
  7. Remove from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, let sit for 5 minutes to melt, then spread into an even layer.
