Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, mix warm milk, melted butter, egg, and red food coloring until smooth. Combine wet and dry ingredients to form dough.
  2. Knead dough on a floured surface for about five minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for one hour until doubled in size.
  3. Prepare filling by mixing brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a separate bowl.
