  • 2 lb boneless pork shoulder
  • 2 cups fresh sauerkraut
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, thinly sliced
  • 12 slider buns

  • 2 tbsp whole-grain mustard
  • 1 tbsp pork seasoning blend (1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp pepper)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork shoulder with the pork seasoning blend. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork on all sides until golden brown.
  2. Remove the pork and sauté the sliced onions in the skillet until translucent. Add sauerkraut and stir to combine.
  3. Return the pork to the skillet with any juices. Cover and slow cook on low for about 3 hours, until fork-tender.
  4. Shred the pork with two forks, mixing it with sauerkraut juices.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Assemble sliders by placing shredded pork on buns and topping with provolone cheese. Bake until cheese is melted.
  6. Serve warm with a dollop of mustard for dipping.
