Instructions

  1. Toast the pecans in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Let cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cooled pecans, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, melted butter, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into one-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the truffle balls in the fridge for 30 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into melted chocolate, coating fully, and sprinkle crushed pecans on top before the chocolate sets.
  7. Return to the fridge until chocolate hardens completely.
