- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Transfer chicken to a plate.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in honey and soy sauce, scraping any bits from the bottom of the skillet until well combined.
