  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine maple syrup, brown sugar, bourbon, Dijon mustard, and pineapple juice. Heat over medium until sugar dissolves and the mixture simmers.
  3. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern. Insert whole cloves if desired.
  4. Brush half of the glaze over the ham and place it in a roasting pan.
  5. Roast for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, basting with remaining glaze every 30 minutes.
  6. Let the ham rest before slicing.
