  • 2 cups water (1 cup boiling, 1 cup cold)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

  • Clear plastic cups

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water in a saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in the strawberry gelatin until dissolved.
  2. Mix in 1 cup of cold water to balance the temperature.
  3. Pour half of the gelatin mixture into clear cups (about 1/4 cup each) and refrigerate until set (about 30 minutes).
  4. While waiting, chop fresh strawberries.
  5. Once the first layer is firm, add a layer of strawberries on top.
  6. Pour remaining gelatin over strawberries and refrigerate until set.
  7. Top with whipped cream and garnish with additional strawberry slices if desired.
