  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 cup mixed fresh fruits (strawberries, mangoes, kiwis)
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate sauce
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear. Combine with 1¼ cups water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for about 18 minutes until water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let sit covered for 10 minutes. Stir in sugar and rice vinegar.
  3. Slice fruits into thin strips while the rice cools.
  4. On a bamboo mat lined with plastic wrap, spread cooled sushi rice over a nori sheet, leaving an inch at the top.
  5. Place fruit strips and whipped cream along the bottom edge of the rice-covered nori sheet. Roll tightly using the mat.
  6. Slice into bite-sized pieces, drizzle with chocolate sauce, and garnish with coconut or sesame seeds.
