  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Sauté chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Add minced garlic in the last minute of cooking.
  3. Boil salted water in another pot and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  4. In the skillet with chicken, combine marinara sauce and cooked pasta; stir until well-coated.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the mixture. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.
