  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 3/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, toss sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, flour, oats, and brown sugar until crumbly. Press half into the bottom of the prepared pan for the crust.
  4. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the crust and drizzle with caramel sauce.
  5. Sprinkle remaining crumble mixture over the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares; serve warm or at room temperature.
