Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. 2. In a clean mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until foamy. Gradually add granulated sugar while whisking until stiff peaks form.
  3. 3. Sift together almond flour and icing sugar, then gently fold into the meringue until combined.
  4. 4. Add gel food coloring if desired and mix gently to achieve your preferred shade.
  5. 5. Transfer the batter to a piping bag fitted with a round tip and pipe heart shapes on the prepared sheets.
