  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warmed milk and yeast; let sit until foamy (about 5 minutes).
  2. Mix flour, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt in a large bowl. Add yeast mixture and mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
  5. Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread softened butter over it and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Roll tightly into a log.
  6. Cut into 12 rolls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before drizzling with icing made from powdered sugar and milk.
