- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 burger buns (whole wheat, brioche, or gluten-free)
- Toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado (as desired)
- Mash the kidney beans in a bowl until smooth.
- Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat for about 5 minutes until soft.
