  • 1 cup heavy cream (for ganache)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Gradually mix in vanilla extract and sour cream.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 12-15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Once baked, invert the cake onto a powdered sugar-dusted towel and roll it up while warm.
  6. Prepare the filling by heating cherries with some sugar until soft; allow to cool before using.
