Instructions

  1. Wash cucumbers thoroughly and slice into spears or rounds.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Stir until dissolved and bring to a gentle boil.
  3. Remove from heat and add crushed garlic and dill to the brine.
  4. Pack cucumber slices tightly into clean mason jars and pour the hot brine over them until fully submerged.
  5. Allow jars to cool to room temperature before sealing with lids. Transfer to the refrigerator.
  6. Let pickles sit in the fridge for at least 24 hours before enjoying.
